The Manzanita Writers' Series is looking for second homeowners willing to host visiting authors for the weekend they're in town for their readings. As a new program of the Hoffman Center, we're not able to offer large stipends. Instead we offer a beach weekend in a local private home in Manzanita or Neahkahnie to lure these writers to our program, but we need your help. Authors generally prefer to have the house to themselves. Or, if you have a guest suite with private access, that could work, too.
There is nothing you need to do — we'll handle the arrangements and clean your home afterwards. And, you'll receive an autographed copy of the author's latest book for your library.
